Va panel burn in. I'm considering avoiding these panels in the future.

Va panel burn in com Oct 11, 2021 · The difference between the two being that retention fades but burn in only gets worse. I’ve left the same image for many days on end and never an issue. I also had an older MVA monitor with major burn in tendencies that I gave away. Va panels don’t have burn in issue. Most VA panels have effectively zero retention or burn in, and I still have some 10+ year old Dell 24" monitors in service at work. The effect appears to be cumulative, as even cycled logos do burn-in (but over a longer period of time). Unless you have some weird special type of VA. And then later on I realized its the whole top of the taskbar visible on dark grey/black backgrounds. However, the next panel I want is a *VA so I'm not sure what to do about this. Set your monitor to go to sleep after 30-40 minutes or so minutes of inactivity and you're all good. Today only I noticed that in 1 game on the menu I saw the windows logo at the bottom left of the screen. I don't like the burn in.
